In October, we are preparing to hike along the magnificent structure, over watchtowers and mountains, through historic battlements and to the top of the 'Heavenly Ladder' at Mutianyu! Not only will the 7-8 hours of trekking a day be demanding but the altitude will also prove a challenge. Visiting the Great Wall of China was on Daniel's bucket list, so we have taken it upon ourselves to see it through. Although this is a huge challenge, the hardest challenge of all is living without him xx
